I.S. EN 16001 - Energy Management System (EnMS)

IS EN 16001 is the European Standard for Energy Management. It provides a systematic process for continually improving energy performance in public and private sector organisations. The Standard is suitable for SMEs and large organizations and across all sectors, but is particularly beneficial if you operate in an energy-intensive sector.

EN 16001 has a similar structure to existing Quality, Safety and Environment Managements Systems as it’s based on a Plan-Do-Check- Act cycle.
