Commercial Energy Ratings

October 2008 Building Science Technologies is now registered with Sustainable Energy Ireland to carry out non domestic commercial building energy ratings. BST are among the first companies in Ireland to achieve this milestone. A Building Energy Rating (BER) and Advisory Report is required for new Non Domestic buildings for which planning permission is applied for on or after July 2008. From January 2009 all existing non-domestic buildings will require an energy certificate when offered for sale or rental. Read more

Site Suitability Assessment for On-site Wastewater Treatment Systems

BST have recently undertaken the training to carry out site suitability assessments for on-site wastewater treatment systems. From the 1st of June 2007 in accordance with article 22(2)(c) of the Planning and Development Regulations 2006, planning applicants are required to submit the site suitability assessment at the time of making the application. BST are in a position to offer our customers a discounted price for carrying out a site suitability assessment for a limited time. Read more
