Commercial Building Energy Ratings

Building Science Technologies were the first company from the Republic of Ireland registered with SEAI to carry out non domestic BERs. A Building Energy Rating (BER) and Advisory Report are required for new Non Domestic buildings and for all existing non-domestic buildings when offered for sale, lease or rental.

BST use the Non Domestic Energy Assessment Procedure (NEAP) to demonstrate compliance with Building Regulations or energy performance legislation. Our engineers have the experience to provide guidance on the selection of the most appropriate alternatives for achieving compliance through building fabric and building services choices.

The BER is an indicator of energy performance covering energy use for space heating and cooling, water heating, ventilation and lighting.
